Brazilian recording artist Curumin has been winning over audiences and critics worldwide with his signature Samba-Soul-Funk sound. He is rightly regarded as an underground superstar in his native Brazil, known for his adventurous mixing of musical styles (think classic MPB, a dose of Baile Funk, ample amounts of eclectic musical madness and a whole lot of soul). His 2005 Quannum Projects release Achados e Perdidos won critical acclaim and helped establish his name amongst underground tastemakers and shakers. Now with his latest album Japan Pop Show, Curumin (and his 4-piece band) are bringing their refreshing tropical vibe to the world stage, making their first ever appearance in Canada.

Killer show – drummers rocked the house – Rio Mate was ice cold and amazing – reminded me of hanging on the beach in Rio – where can I buy Rio Mate in Ottawa stores?
